Buddy taught me the coolest game! We run around and chase each other, and then when we decide to stop playing tag we get really close and pretend to chew on each other. It's great! We get to run, and growl, and bat at each other, and we can do it anywhere! We play inside the house - like in the living room, or on Daddy, or going up the stairs, or when Mommy and Daddy are trying to sleep. Or else we play outside at the dog park - but we only play when no one else is around watching. We kinda like to keep our playing secret.

We took a really long walk at the dog park, and then after we went for ice cream. OMG I love ice cream!!! I would do anything for it - I would even give away Buddy for ice cream. When I get my tongue on some ice cream I don't even come up for air until it is all gone. Mmmmm...ice cream... Mom? Could we go to Dairy Queen again? Pleeeeeeeeze??!!!!

Geez do I LOVE having a brother!!! Mommy took us to the dog park yesterday, and she let us both off the leash!! WOW did we have fun!!! We got to sniff all sorts of different types and sizes of dogs, stomp through dry grass, chase each other, meet some kids, and although Mommy brought the Flying Squirrel frisbee neither of us felt like bringing it back to her. We'd chase it, but Mommy seemed to like getting it herself... I don't understand Mommy sometimes...she seems to like to make things more difficult than they need to be sometimes.

Yaaa! I had the best Christmas!! I was so spoilt! Auntie Erin sent Buddy and I really cool toys that we immediately played with, and some yummy treats. Uncle Ken and Auntie Tianna gave us some Chewables. Santa brought us some really wicked toys, and Mommy and Daddy gave us a Rollover-stuffed bone each. They also got us each a Team Canada jersey. Mine is red, and Buddy's white. Daddy says something called the Olympics are next year, and he wants us ready to cheer for Canada. I don't know what he means, but if it means we get to cuddle on the couch together I'm all for it. Mommy says she'll get a picture of us in the shirts up later this week. She needs to take in the sides on Buddy's, and shorten the sleeves on both first. Hang on, she's whispering that she might be lazy and take a picture of us before she does any alterations... Silly Mom.

I worry about my little brother. He's still so unsure and jittery about everything... But I love him. When he's calm and sweet I like to come over and give him kisses, and I taught him how to play chase a couple of days ago. He's a lot of fun and full of energy, and with each day that passes he becomes more part of our family.

I HAVE A BROTHER!!!! His name is Buddy and he's three weeks younger than me. He's been kinda shy, and hasn't played chase with me yet, but I'm working on it. I'm so excited! Now I have someone to share treats with (like a Greenie), play tag with, and walk and run with!!! Yaaaaaa!!!!

Poor Mommy. She's been so sick the last month, and so I've had to take care of her. Every day before Daddy goes to work he reminds me to take care of Mom. I take Daddy's request very seriously - I make sure she has a nap at least once a day, I help her eat her soda crackers (because she can't finish them), and I try to make her laugh by jumping off the couch with her and chase my tail. Thank goodness she's so easy to make laugh!

But the good news is I got a new sweater for this winter!! Don't I look great? It's a cable knit, with a really nice collar. I was able to wear it the last time we took a walk because it was chilly. I love it when I get something new! Just to show Daddy and Mommy that I like the new sweater I like to carry it over to my living room-bed after I take it off, and cuddle it for a bit. Aaaah, there isn't quite anything like a new sweater...

... and then my Jester's collar. In the end I chose my Superman costume (mostly because I've outgrown my Men in Black outfit. It's too bad, because I think I look my best in a suit.) The kids who came loved how I looked and I got to give lots of kisses and got lots of rubs!!! I love Halloween, but I think next year I'll try to talk Mommy and Daddy into buying me a new costume.

By the end of the day I was exhausted!! I fell asleep in Daddy's lap while he was driving home from Banff. The only time I woke up was when we stopped for ice cream at Dairy Queen. I snarfed down the ice cream and fell back to sleep. It was such a great day!!!

We went to the Pug Picnic earlier this year, and I wanted to show you one of my favorite things I saw there...look! look!!! That puggy doesn't even have to walk!! He gets to be carried, so all he has to do is just hang out and watch what is going on!!! Mind you, Mommy really teased me because that puggy wears his Doggles...I have them, but I don't wear them very often...

Hi everyone! I am sorry I haven't written in such a long time...I've been so busy! What with taking care of Mom and Dad, pulling the stuffing out of Piggy, waiting for Mom to finish surgery on Piggy, visiting everyone, making sure I spread the love around - - well, a pug's job is never done. But Mommy and I had a long talk, and we've decided that we better stay a little more current with posting my pictures and stories. I mean, really, every day is an adventure!!!

Hi everyone! I am sorry I haven't written lately. I've been busy sunning myself in the neighbour's flower garden, teaching Mommy and Daddy new tricks, and all of my other duties. Speaking of teaching new tricks to my parents, I taught Mommy when I need more water in my bowl. I told her when I stand up in front of the sink and bark that means I need more water. It took her a few minutes to learn the trick, but I've practiced it with her enough times that I know that she's finally trained.

Mommy and I just had a really amazing moment... We were sitting outside on the front steps enjoying the night air and looking at the stars and full moon. Then I noticed lightning just over the rooftops. Mommy said it was a thunderstorm headed our way. I thought it was really neat how where we were was calm and clear, yet just over there was a huge thunderstorm with an amazing light show. Wow! Isn't life neat?

I'm so happy! It isn't raining any more, so I get to be outside!! I have spent the morning laying in the sun on the front porch. I spend half of the time in the sun, and the rest of the time in the shade. I love watching all of my friends go by...some even stop to say hi and rub my tummy!!!

Another surgery for piggy

Sigh...piggy needed surgery again. So after having to wait a week to get into the hospital (he had to wait on the bookshelf) he finally got his leg fixed. Oh well!! He's healthy again, so we cuddled up on the bed and I cleaned him until we both fell asleep. I love my piggy, and I'm so happy he's back!!!

Well, I know something is going on. Mommy and Daddy have been running around the house cleaning and vacuuming, so I know somebody must be coming to visit. But now I have to wait!!!
So, I'm laying behind Mommy on the arm of the couch. And waiting. If I hear a noise I pop up from my perch, but otherwise I like to just lay and wait. When I get like this Mommy likes to call me her little pug parrot!!!

I love it when Mommy can't sleep!! She spoils me with treats. Oh, she tries to pretend that I'm getting them for doing something brilliant like sitting or laying down, but she's great when she's lacking sleep!!!!

Today she scattered bones all over my beds and on the couch, and then we played tag with each one of them. I would drop one in her lap and wait...then Mommy would pretend to take it, and then the game is on!! We end up chasing each other around the living room trying to take the bone from each other. The best part is when Mommy let's me win, and we get to sit together on the couch while I eat my bone!!!

After we finished playing I went upstairs to make sure that Daddy was still asleep and if he needed me. I gave him a quick cuddle and then came back down to see Mommy. When Mommy gets like this, she needs me. Silly Mommy!! Doesn't she remember that happiness is a warm puppy?!!!

Mommy and Daddy's Godchildren and Godpuppy sent me a toy for Christmas, and I LOVE IT!!! My favorite game is to take it on the couch, push it off, stare at it, and with a great big squeal I pounce it. It's sooo much fun!
